Stephen Wright, DDS
Dr. Wright has practiced dentistry for over 30 years. He grew up in Salt Lake City, attended Skyline High School, University of Utah and the University Of Washington School Of Dentistry. During his career he has mastered many aspects of dentistry including root canals, wisdom teeth extractions and orthodontics along with general family dentistry and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Wright is “one of a kind” with his caring, non-judgmental approach regarding your dental needs.
Dr. Wright enjoys spending time with his family, boating and attending U of U football games.

Des – Office Manager
Desiree has been in the dental industry for 20 years and still loves what she does.
Desiree prides herself in making sure her patients and staff have a valuable, honest experience while in our office. “We are not salesman, but family!”
Desiree enjoys spending time with her family, working in the film industry, and cruising on her Harley.
Desiree is also the president and founder of a not-for-profit charity that focuses on providing resources for persons in recovery and their families. Even if it’s just a conversation, Desiree will do what it takes to help others take a positive step forward.
Alena – Assistant Manager
Alena is the friendly face at the front desk of Wright Family Dental. With over 16 years of experience in dental administration , she brings a high level of expertise in communication, appointment management and insurance coordination. What Alena loves most about her job is getting to know patients personally and helping the feel comfortable and informed from the moment they walk in the door. Originally from West Jordan. In her spare time Alena enjoys dance classes especially folk lore from Peru or Colombia, yoga, hiking, going to soccer games and spending time with her two boys and dachshunds.

Miryam – Dental Assistant
Miryam is cross trained for front and back office. However, she prefers working “hands on” so she has recently transitioned to assisting Dr. Wright in the back. Her favorite procedures are crowns and root canals.
Miryam strives to make her patients have a pleasant and comfortable experience when they come in for their appointments.
Miryam also enjoys reading a book outside on rainy days as well as spending time with her friends.

Leslie – Dental Assistant
Hi, my name is Leslie! I’m originally from California and have been a dental assistant for over 11 years. Recently, I made the move to Utah and have fallen in love with the beautiful scenery — especially during the winter season. Working with Dr. Wright has been such a rewarding experience because he truly values a family-oriented approach with both his staff and patients.
I’m passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident during their visits, and I always strive to make sure they leave with a healthy, happy smile. My background includes an associate’s degree in health sciences, and I’m excited to continue growing in the dental field with the goal of becoming a dental hygienist — or even a dentist one day.
